Born in Richmond Virginia and raised between Richmond and the 757 region, Jahkon’s creative foundation began through music and fashion, disciplines that would later shape his approach to photography. At the age of fourteen he began producing music, driven by a deep passion for sound and inspired by the visual worlds surrounding the artists he admired. Around the same time he started designing clothing through Photoshop, becoming drawn to the aesthetics, imagery, and visual language that defined music and fashion culture. These early experiences sparked a desire not only to participate in these spaces, but to document and create within them.

After moving to Florida in 2022, Jahkon’s focus shifted fully toward photography. In December 2024 he purchased his first camera, a film camera inspired by the raw and intimate work he admired within Gunner Stahl’s music photography. He began shooting consistently at events and concerts, developing a style rooted in authenticity, energy, and atmosphere. In January 2025 he began working closely with FAU Fashion Forward, expanding his portfolio and refining his visual identity through fashion and live performance imagery.

Since then, Jahkon has captured images of artists who helped shape his own creative journey, translating the emotion and presence of live moments into photographs that feel immediate and personal. His work has been recognized and shared by major brands and artists alike, continuing to push his vision forward within music, fashion, and contemporary culture. Through photography, Jahkon aims to create images that preserve moments honestly while inspiring others to see themselves and their creativity reflected back through the lens.
