Born in Richmond, Virginia, Jahkon is a photographer and multidisciplinary creative whose practice is rooted in the intersection of fashion, music, and contemporary culture. His creative pursuits began at the age of 14 through music production and clothing design, eventually developing into a deeper fascination with hip-hop and its visual language.

Through studying the discographies of influential artists, he immersed himself in the culture surrounding the music, discovering the work of photographers such as Gunner Stahl, whose imagery further shaped his perspective.

Drawn to the expressive nature of fashion and the theatricality of the runway, photography became a natural extension of his creative interests. In 2024, he acquired his first camera and began exploring the medium through film. Within months, he was working with musicians and models across South Florida and Atlanta, building a visual practice while continuing to pursue music production and modeling.

Informed by his multidisciplinary background, his work explores identity, style, and the relationship between individuals and their environments. Working primarily with film, he approaches image-making as a form of documentation, capturing the nuances of contemporary culture through an intimate, instinctive, and editorial lens.
